Maulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar was a great personality amongst Indian Freedom Fighters. He was born on December 10, 1878 in Rampur, India. He has completed his education from Darul-Uloom, Deoband, Aligarh and Oxford University in 1898. He was so compassionate for the Indian populates of standing to end British Slavery. It has widely admitted that Maulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar was the leader of Indian national temperaments rising with Indian politics of second decade (1911 to 1930) in 20th Century. Unfortunately he has been widely ill-treated in Post-Independence Eera.
He was sent to Lincoln’s college, Oxford in History in 1902. It was here that Muhammad Ali came in to contact with English life and thoughts which late helped him in playing a pivotal role in revolting against the British subjugation of India.
Muhammad Ali lent his services first to Rampur State and later to the Baroda State only to take part whole heartedly in staging a revolution in the Islamic world as well as in the Indian Political and social life. He associated himself actively with the Aligarh Old Boy’s Association and actively joined the Aligarh movement for reforms taking out two journals “Comrads” and “Hamdard” in 1911 to present him revolutionary ideas to the masses....More
